REAL ESTATE
We have purchased and sold a lot of homes over the past 26 years! We handle all kinds of residential, income-producing, and commercial and industrial purchase, sale and financing transactions. We enforce mortgage and other debt on real estate by power of sale and other remedies. We also appear before Committees of Adjustment, the Municipal Board and other government agencies to obtain minor variances, building permit approval, rezoning etc.

FAMILY
We prepare premarital, cohabitation, co-ownership of property and separation agreements and help you structure your assets, income, business, and family contracts, including wills.
We do family litigation of all kinds. We recognize that you have to deal with your spouse and children after the litigation is over. We try to minimize post-separation problems and try to keep your relationship with your ex-spouse as positive as possible. We obtain divorces, both uncontested and contested and make applications to vary and challenge existing agreements or court orders.
WILLS AND ESTATES
We review your personal situation to determine if there are any possible claims against your estate. We review your assets, liabilities and jurisdictional issues. We can structure estates to provide for life interests, annuities, handicapped children, property in Florida, businesses, family cottage problems and trusts of all kinds.
We estate plan to minimize taxes. We prepare wills and trusts and Powers of Attorney for Property and Personal Care to protect you and your family if you become incapacitated during your lifetime.
LITIGATION & PERSONAL INJURY
We handle all kinds of litigation from the demand letter, small claims court, administrative tribunals (for example the Ontario Human Rights Commission and Ontario Municipal Board) to the highest court levels.
We provide price quotations on litigation on a stage by stage basis, unlike many law firms. For personal injury and class action cases that we accept, you pay as you go for out of pocket disbursements such as court fees and medical reports but do not pay fees to us unless and until we obtain recovery for you.
BUSINESS
We run a business ourselves. We’ve got extensive experience with business startups and financing and structure you to help you avoid disputes with co-owners down the road.
We are trademark agents, and do extensive trademark, copyright and industrial design intellectual property work.
We do all sorts of contract work, sales contracts, employment contracts and termination of employment. We do collection work for clients and manage business related litigation on a low-cost basis. We buy and sell businesses.
